Meet our Directors
Carrie McKee, Director
My name is Carrie McKee and I am excited to join the West County Day School as your Director. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business management and an associates of applied science in early childhood education. I have worked in education for 20 years and have spent the last eight as a director. I have two school-aged daughters who are also looking forward to being part of the WCDS family!
Amanda Kocher, Assistant Director
I absolutely love watching each child that I work with learn and grow. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2002 and received a degree in Early Childhood from Webster University in 2004. I have taught infants through 1st grade, with a year as an SSD Para-educator. I have also worked as a mentor to new teachers, coordinated fundraising events, planned and organized School-Aged summer camps, and attended Professional Development conferences geared toward early learners. I am trained in Conscious Discipline and was a member of the Character Education Committee at Windsor Elementary.
I am the proud mother of 2 very energetic children. When we're not at school, we love to spend time outdoors, go to the library, have dance parties, and watch movies. We also enjoy visiting our friends and family as often as possible. We are so excited to be a part of the WCDS School Family!
