Early Preschool - It’s Fun Being Two

As toddlers reach that all important “two year” milestone, they say “goodbye” to babyhood and strive towards independence.  Our program is designed to foster that independence and celebrate each child’s uniqueness, providing a balance between the conflicting needs of security and self-confidence.  Children are encouraged to explore their environment, develop self-help skills, cooperation and the ability to share. They will make great developmental strides during this time as they mature socially, cognitively and emotionally.  Most likely your two year old will begin their first steps to potty-training in a supportive, nurturing environment.  Parents and teachers work together to provide the best possible foundation for success.

Children will be introduced to the concept of Learning Centers for imaginary play, blocks, puzzles, creative art and dramatic play experiences.  Energetic teachers plan theme-related activities that encourage children to explore their world. A balance of quiet activities with plenty of fun and excitement including music and movement, running, jumping and climbing will ensure that your tireless two year old will never be bored!
