world they are challenged with today. We want them to

strong and healthy in every
aspect - emotionally, mentally, socially,
intellectually and physically.

West County Day School is dedicated to giving children an excellent Early
Childhood Education. Our center
serves infant to six year old children, and we
offer school-age care. Our academic, social skill emphasis
approach prepares
your child not only with knowledge, but skills that will help the child to cope
in everyday situations.
Philosophy and Goals
The staff and administration at West County Day School would like to welcome
your family to our Early
Childhood Center. Whatever your child's stage of development,
WCDS has a program to meet his or her early childhood education needs.
West County Day School is dedicated to giving children an excellent early childhood
education. Our center serves children age's six weeks to six years old through age
appropriate classrooms, a Kindergarten and after school programs.
A large percentage of WCDS' staff hold bachelor degrees, with teachers working towards master
degrees or certificates. Those without formal education have many years of experience in Early
Childhood Education. Both our staff turnover and our family withdraw rate is very low, thus providing
your child with a stable, secure environment.
